Background:
Agent banking is a financial inclusion service that has been adopted by the bank to expand our retail reach across all segments. The agent is expected to provide basic financial services on behalf of the bank.

Agency Banking refers to a type of branchless banking aimed at improving financial inclusion, bringing banking services/products closer to the people, and acquiring a wider customer base.

Reward/Incentives:
Transaction commission is provided to both the bank and the agent.

Project Objectives:

• To grow retail accounts.
• To provide financial services to the unbanked.
• Bring banking services/products closer to the people.
• Increase awareness of retail products.
• Earn income from the services/transactions performed.

MOBILE APP TRANSACTIONS:

1. Account opening With BVN
Agent keys in intending customer’s BVN.
BVN validates the customer’s information.
Agent inputs customer’s email and phone number.
Customer receives an OTP on the mobile number provided.
Agent inputs OTP to complete account opening.

2. Account Opening Without BVN
Agent keys in intending customer’s Surname and First name.
Enters Date of Birth.
Keys in Email (optional).
Enters Mobile number.
Customer receives an OTP on the mobile number provided.
Agent inputs OTP to complete account opening.

3. Funds transfer/Deposit
I. Zenith Bank (cash deposit)
Agent receives cash from the customer.
Agent inputs Customer’s account number.
The system validates the account number.
Agent inputs amount and narration.
Agent enters PIN to complete cash deposit.
The Agent’s Till account is debited, and the customer’s account is credited.

II. Other Bank
Agent receives cash from the customer.
Agent inputs the customer’s account number.
Selects customer’s bank.
The system validates customer’s account information.
Agent inputs amount, Narration, sender's name, and phone number.
The Agent enters PIN to complete.
The Agent’s Till account is debited, and the other bank account is credited.

4. Cash Out
Agent inputs account number.
The system validates the account number.
Agent inputs amount.
An OTP is sent to customer’s alerts number.
Agent inputs OTP and PIN to complete the transaction.
The Agent's Till account is credited, and the customer's account is debited.

5. Bills payments – Multichoice, Discos, and all Quickteller billers are available on the platform. The fee is N100.

Airtime purchase – Airtime vending for all Telcos is available.

• The agent receives cash from the customer.
• Select network operator.
• Inputs mobile number and amount.
• The agent enters PIN to complete the transaction.
• The Agent's Till is debited.
• The customer's mobile number is credited.
